DTA Toiture is a roofer based in Aiseau, working in Hainaut, Liège, Namur and Walloon Brabant.
The need
Show the projects, explain natural slate and the Walloon grants, and let the client describe their roof before the first contact.
What was built
A single-page site in seven views: home, natural slate, services, projects, grants and audit, online quote, contact. Lightweight, no audience tracking, hosted on Vercel.
Features, one by one
Seven views each with its own tab title, accessible mobile menu.
Dedicated slate page with installation in three illustrated steps.
Gallery of eleven projects with captions and enlargement.
Walloon grants guide: reform of 1 October 2026, categories, steps, official contacts.
Quote estimator: eight items with quantities, surface calculation help by roof pitch, VAT choice.
Contact form with name, municipality, phone, email, type of work and message.
Responsive at three breakpoints and dark theme following the system; alt texts and visible focus.
The online request module
The estimator guides the client item by item. The price grid is deliberately empty until the roofer provides it: the site shows “on quotation”, never an invented figure.
The steps
Work and quantities: tile roofing, slate roofing, insulation, flat roof, gutters and valleys, moss removal, roof window, scaffolding.
Calculation help: ground surface multiplied by a pitch coefficient, carried over to the ticked items.
VAT choice: 6% or 21%.
Estimate panel with detail per item, non-binding notice.
What happens next
The request leaves through the visitor’s email client, with the items, the estimate and the description; nothing is stored on a server.
The contact form works the same way and invites the visitor to attach photos.
Technology
A single HTML page, CSS and JavaScript without a framework, embedded images, hosted on Vercel.
